THERMAL INSULATION WITH NEOPRENE
By trapping a thin layer of water around the feet, the neoprene boot works in two ways:
1. the trapped water inside the boot gradually warms up
2. heat transfer from the body decreases.
The boot and the thin covering of water form a layer of insulation.
Neoprene is a closed-cell elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties
DESCRIPTION OF THE ANKLE BOOT
The upper of the Tribord neoprene sailing ankle boots are made of 100% neoprene (thickness: 4 mm) to ensure optimal thermal insulation.
The uniquely designed rubber sole provides excellent grip on smooth, wet surfaces, without marking the deck of the boat.
The fastening benefits from a YKK® zip, and an extendible neoprene pleat, which makes it easier to get them on.
The rubber reinforcements at the instep ensure good support under the toe strap.

This ankle boot is a great choice for women, kids, and men alike.
The ankle boot sizes on the large side. If you’re between 2 sizes, we’d recommend opting for the smaller size.
MULTI-SPORTS
The boot was designed with the restrictions of leisurely sailing in mind. Our design choices make it suitable for other sports such as SUP (Stand-up paddleboarding), windsurfing, sea wading or even canoeing/kayaking.
